Der 37-jährige #Kenianer Kipchoge gewinnt den @BMW Berlin Marathon🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ und verbessert seine eigene Weltrekordmarke um 30 Sekunden. Damit sicherte er sich auch einen „Stundenlohn“ von 60.000 €💶, denn die Gesamtgewinnprämie inkl. Weltrekord-Bonus beträgt stolze 120.000 Euro.💶

Für #Kipchoge war es der insgesamt vierte Erfolg beim #BMWBerlinMarathon, damit ist er nun, gemeinsam mit dem #Äthiopier Haile Gebrselassie, Rekordsieger beim größten deutschen City-Lauf.

#Gebrselassie siegte dort von 2006 bis 2009 und lief dabei ebenfalls zwei Weltrekorde.

Insgesamt hatten sich rund 45 000 Läuferinnen🏃‍♀️ und Läufer🏃‍♂️ für das Rennen durch die Berliner Innenstadt angemeldet.

Bei den Frauen hat die Äthiopierin #TigistAssefa mit der drittbesten je gelaufenen Zeit den Berlin-Marathon gewonnen. Die 28-Jährige siegte  in 2:15:37 Stunden.

Für @APA war es wieder ein Installations-Abenteuer. Ein Team aus 42 APA Technikern, Projektleitern und Service-Helfern sorgte innerhalb von 2 Tagen und Nächten für das „Dressing“ an der 42,195 KM langen Strecke – Weltrekord verdächtig.🏆🎖️

Gratulation nicht nur an die #Siegerin und den #Sieger sondern an die @SCC Verantwortlichen @Christian Jost und @Mark Milde mit ihrem engagierten Umsetzungsteam unter der Führung von @Dominik Rosenau und natürlich an das APA Implementation-Team. Super Arbeit!

60,000€ hourly wage at the Berlin Marathon

The 37-year-old #Kenyan Kipchoge wins the @BMW Berlin Marathon🏃♂️🏃♀️ and improves his own world record mark by 30 seconds. In doing so, he also secured himself an „hourly wage“ of €60,000💶 because the total prize money incl. world record bonus is a proud €120,000.💶

For #Kipchoge it was his fourth success at the #BMWBerlinMarathon, making him, together with the #Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie, the record winner of Germany’s biggest city run.

#Gebrselassie won the race from 2006 to 2009 and also ran two world records.

A total of around 45,000 runners🏃♀️ had registered for the race through Berlin’s city centre.

In the women’s race, Ethiopian #TigistAssefa won the Berlin Marathon with the third best time ever run. The 28-year-old won in 2:15:37 hours.

For @APA it was another installation adventure. A team of 42 APA technicians, project managers and service helpers provided the „dressing“ on the 42.195 KM course within 2 days and nights – world record suspicious.🏆🎖️
