Around 25,000 runners took to the starting line at the 47th Berlin Marathon. The victory goes to the Ethiopian Guye Adola. The Kenyan Bekele, who had previously been considered the top favourite, crosses the finish line in third place. Gotytom Gebreslase wins the women’s race.
